To the say the least, it's been a forgettable season for the University of Memphis football season up to this point, but at least their coach is still in place. Tulane fired its coach, Bob Toledo, on Tuesday.

If there's a winnable game left on the Tigers' (1-6, 0-3 Conference USA) schedule, it's this one. Let's take a look at some statistics from both teams' last outings.

Tulane: 16

Total yards
Memphis: 233
Tulane: 365

Tulane (2-5, 1-2 C-USA) is probably a better team than Memphis at this point. They've got a capable running back in Orleans Darkwa, who's got seven touchdowns on the year.

Still, the Green Wave is without its head coach. The Tigers should come out inspired and make this a game. If U of M freshman quarterback Taylor Reed is patient and makes just a few good throws early in the game, the Tigers have as good a shot as they've had this season to get a win.
