Marcus Robinson, a 2013 linebacker prospect from East (Memphis, Tenn.), broke down his recruitment with TigerAuthority.com on Tuesday evening.

He said he's obtained offers from the University of Memphis, Clemson, Mississippi State, Vanderbilt, and North Carolina. Fellow East teammates Bobby Billingsley and Herbert Moore also have received interest from the Tigers.

Robinson said it's a privilege to come from a high school program that regularly churns out FBS prospects.

"I love my teammates," he said. I love the big family that we've become, especially my d-lineman. Without them, I wouldn't possibly be where I am right now."

He said he thinks the Big East adding Memphis will be a big boost in recruiting.

"With a bigger conference, it'll be a lot more players that consider going there," he said.

For Robinson personally, he said he's looking for a fit both on the gridiron and in the classroom.

"I'm looking for the place where I most fit in with the defensive scheme," he said, "but it's mostly about the education and the graduation rate."
