Missouri has the newest member of their class of 2013 in defensive tackle Josh Augusta.
"Missouri for Josh," Peoria Central head coach Tim Thornton reported to Scout.
The 6'5, 275-lb defensive tackle is a four-star prospect and held additional offers from Illinois and Michigan State, who were among his final choices.
As a senior, Augusta recorded 16 tackles for loss and six sacks. He also played tight end in high school and is also a member of the school's varsity basketball team.
Following a previous visit to Mizzou, Augusta said, "I like their academics and their coaches a lot."
Augusta is the first commit from the state of Illinois for the Tigers in this class.
