Recent happenings:

Last game: Memphis 81 - St. Mary's 66

Sean Banks isn't the only NBA prospect in Memphis. Like Dejuan Wagner before him, Carney used Madison Square Garden to put the NBA on notice as his 33 points, 9 rebounds and 4 steals paced the Tigers to an easy win over St. Mary's.

Last game: Syracuse 71 - Miss. St. 58

Syracus played two games against Miss. St. The first half and the second half. Thankfully for Syracuse fans, Warrick finished strong wtih 21 points and 9 rebounds. McNamara finished with a game high 7 assists.

What to expect:

Both Carney and Banks will need to be on tonight for the Tigers to win. Warwick and McNamara are Orangemen's heavy hitters and have a great history of coming up strong in big games. C & B present matchup problems for Syracuse while Memphis matches up very well with the Orangemen.

Expect the Tigers freshemen to have an impact as Syracuse tries to keep Carney and Banks in check. This will leave Darius Washington room to penetrate and dish off to Dorsey. Don't be fooled by the term freshman. Washington and Dorsey played on the national stage as highly recruited prep players. After last night, who could disagree?

Prediction:
Memphis: 82-79
