At 6'0, 175 Joel German is one of the top WR prospects in the SunShine State. He hauled in 34 balls for 644 yards with 6 TD's as a senior and added three more TD's on the ground. The 6' 5", 270 pound defensive linemen was committed to Ole Miss for nearly two years before the Rebels made a coaching change. He ended up inking with Southern Miss but left the program in the fall of his freshman season and ended up at Co-Linn CC. The folks at St. Stanislaus are still pinching themselves. This all has to be a dream. The Rock-a-Chaws are usually in basketball mode this time of year, but football fever is still running rampant. St. Stan will take on Forrest County tonight in the south state semi-finals. Acosta is one of the top kickers in south and is currently ranked 13th nationally. Bret Jefcoat earned All-Star honors as a high school senior out of Itawamba AHS. At the conclusion of his prep career, Bret signed on with Southern Miss and Coach Larry Fedora. After a redshirt year in Hattiesburg, Jefcoat elected to transfer to Itawamba Community College in hopes of entering the recruiting pool once again.   Full Story
